Feb 24, 2017 Download the Apache Directory Studio tar file from the official Apache site. Save the file to the chosen location. Open a terminal window. Change into the chosen directory. Unpack the downloaded file with the command tar xvzf ApacheDirectoryStudio-XXX.yyy.tar.gz (where XXX is the release number and yyy is either 32 or 64 bit) Change into the. Apache Directory Studio - is an LDAP browser/editor for data, schema, LDIF, and DSML written in an Eclipse-based framework. Apache eSCIMo - is a Java-based implementation of the SCIM protocol. Apache Fortress - is a standards-based authorization system. Apache Kerby - is a Kerberos implementation written in Java. Fortunately, the Apache Directory Project has released the Apache Directory Studio (this isn’t new software, I’ve just never written about it) to help deal with LDAP.

We encourage you to verify the integrity of the downloaded file using:- the ASC file (OpenPGP compatible signature) with the KEYS file (code signing keys used to sign the product)
- the SHA256 or SHA512 files (checksum).

Extract the downladed archive and place the extracted folder where you want Apache Directory Studio to be installed. |
Apache Directory Studio requires at least:
- a recent Linux distribution. It has been tested successfully on Ubuntu and Arch Linux.
- Java 11 or later, we recommend AdoptOpenJDK.
The PGP signatures can be verified using PGP or GPG. First download the KEYS as well as the asc signature file for the relevant distribution. Then verify the signatures using:
